It has been five years since the 8th KCU Congress on June 6, Juche 106 (2017), at which the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un made a speech blessing the bright future of the rising generation. They were proud days during which the KCU members, the reserves of the revolution, had successfully fulfilled the pledge they made before the KCU flag.

Over the past five years, loyalty and patriotic spirit have been fully displayed among the KCU members, the future of the country. More than 1, 030 KCU members became Kim Il Sung Children Honor Prize and Kim Jong Il Children Honor Prize winners and more than 100 schools and over 24, 490 classes won Honored Red Flag and twice and thrice Honored Red Flag.

Kim Jong Un has guided the work of the KCU, regarding love for the younger generation as the most important affair, and highly appreciated even small good deeds of its members and put them forward to make them known to the whole country. His benevolent loving care serves as main source that has brought up the rising generations to be children strong in idea and faith and patriotic children.

It is the greatest pride of our country and people to have a large contingent of millions of KCU members who are preparing themselves to be true young revolutionaries while vigorously conducting the study and organizational life, various socio-political activities and do-good-thing movement under the slogan "Let us be always ready for socialist country!."
