In the course of the contest, more than 280 technical innovation goals were attained.

The contest brought together over 170 April 15 technical innovation shock brigades from the units in provinces, cities and counties which are engaged in milk production and processing and dairy production.

The Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea gave out an organizational outline reflecting in detail the goals of technical innovation, evaluation standards and review methods. And it disseminated technical data and regularly reviewed the implementation of the tasks to take timely measures.

During the contest, a campaign was conducted to secure good breeds and technical measures were taken to solve the feed problem in various ways.

And technological innovations were made and explored to increase the milk production by introducing advanced and scientific breeding methods and to improve the veterinary and anti-epizootic work.

A precious fruition was also brought about in the work for developing the milk processing technology.
