As the world is celebrating the advent of the New Year, I would like to take this joyous occasion to extend to Your Excellency and your friendly people my warmest greetings coupled with best wishes that 2023 will be a year full of goodness and prosperity for all peoples worldwide.

I wish the New Year will be a year of renewed hope and that through the genuine will and sincere intentions of the international community we will be able to achieve our aspirational goals of a world of peaceful coexistence and tolerance in which all peoples live together in harmony.

I also hope that in the coming year we can take more concrete steps towards further strengthening our bilateral relations through a framework of constructive cooperation for the mutual benefits of our two nations.

While wishing you a Happy New Year, please accept, dear Mr. President, my sincere prayers for your personal well-being and for a brighter future for the friendly people of the DPRK.
