Construction Work Brisk in DPRK

Pyongyang, December 23 (KCNA) -- North Phyongan Province in the DPRK has built or remodeled the Kujang Youth Power Station No. 2, the Unsan Noodle House and the Sinuiju Youth Goat Farm, true to the tasks set forth at the 8th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and plenary meetings of the Party Central Committee.

Kujang County built the Kujang Youth Power Station No. 2 by pushing ahead with the project for developing new generating capacity in Paekryongchon, a tributary stream of the River Chongchon.

Sinuiju City built and remodeled more than 20 goat pens necessary for breeding several thousands of goats, thus providing a firm foundation for supplying quality dairy products to kindergartens and nurseries in the city.

Inaugural ceremonies took place on the spots respectively.

Speeches were made at the ceremonies attended by Ju Chol Nam, secretary of the North Phyongan Provincial Committee of the WPK, Hong Yong Nam, vice-chairman of the provincial people's committee, Sim Song Yon, vice-chairman of the provincial rural economy committee, officials concerned, officials and employees of relevant units and builders.
