In December, as many officials, working people and youth and students as nearly three times the previous month visited the revolutionary battle sites and revolutionary sites in the area of Mt Paektu.

During their study tour of the revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt Paektu, teachers and students of Party schools from across the country looked round the Samjiyon Grand Monument, cherishing the revolutionary exploits of President Kim Il Sung and the spirit of devotedly defending the leader and the love for the country displayed by the anti-Japanese revolutionary forerunners.

At the birthplace of Chairman Kim Jong Il in the Paektusan Secret Camp, officials of ministries and national institutions, commanding officers and shock brigade members of the 216 Division and other visitors of many units looked round the historic mementoes preserved at the old home.

They marched to the Chongbong Bivouac, Konchang Bivouac, Monument to the Victorious Battle in Musan Area, etc.

The visitors also called at the Rimyongsu Revolutionary Site associated with the sacred footsteps of Kim Jong Il.
