At the meeting, the speakers stressed that the institution of the Socialist Constitution for the first time in the history of the DPRK provided a powerful weapon for further consolidating and developing the best state and social system of our own style under which the popular masses are the masters of the state and society and everything in society serves them.

They referred to the fact that President Kim Il Sung expounded the concrete orientation and ways for enacting the constitution and put his heart and soul into the institution of the unique Socialist Constitution of Korean style.

They noted that in September Juche 87 (1998), Chairman Kim Jong Il made sure that the Socialist Constitution was modified and supplemented to reflect the faith and will of the Korean people to hold Kim Il Sung in high esteem forever, thus making the state-building idea and exploits of the President shine more brilliantly for all ages.

They said that the Socialist Constitution has developed into a powerful weapon guaranteeing the rapid development and prosperity of the DPRK under the wise guidance of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un.

The performers referred to the noble moral obligation of the General Secretary who ensured that the feats of the President and the Chairman were legalized and the constitution was named the Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il Constitution at the 5th Session of the 12th Supreme People's Assembly.

Attending the meeting were officials of the Central Committee of the UAWK and union officials and agricultural workers in the city of Pyongyang.
