In June Juche 107 (2018), the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the factory, stressing the need for it to build an institute and an analytical laboratory well and develop the cosmetics industry into a technical intensive industry with close combination of production and science and technology. And he guided the layout of an institute and solved all problems arising in its construction.

The completion of the institute laid a solid foundation for raising the cosmetics industry of the country to the world level as required by the people's sense of beauty and the times, ranging from the developing, designing and planning of cosmetics and the modernization of production processes to the sale of goods.

An inaugural ceremony took place on Dec. 26.

Present there were Ju Chol Nam, secretary of the North Phyongan Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned and the officials and employees of the factory.

At the end of the ceremony, the participants went round the newly-built institute.
