The Forestry General Bureau under the Ministry of Land and Environment Protection and officials concerned worked out the stepwise plans in detail and, on this basis, carried on the meticulous organization and guidance over the sapling production.

North Hamgyong Province directed efforts to putting the production of saplings on a higher scientific, industrial and intensive level.

South Hwanghae Province cemented the material and technical foundations of tree nurseries to increase the production of saplings.

Tree nurseries in different districts and counties of Pyongyang secured enough tree seeds and applied compound microorganism fertilizer in a scientific way, while directing efforts to manuring and tending saplings with application of growth promoter and root protectant.

Similar successes were witnessed in South Hamgyong Province, Kangwon Province, Nampho City and other areas.
