The theatre has all conditions for ensuring artistic performances and meetings and fully promoting the creative activities and convenience of artistes.

The remodeled theatre has made it possible to contribute to fully discharging its mission as a base for the people's cultural and emotional life and radically changing the appearance of a border gateway city.

An inaugural ceremony took place on Dec. 27.

Present there were Ju Chol Nam, secretary of the North Phyongan Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, artistes of the provincial art troupe, employees of the theatre, builders and working people in Sinuiju City.

At the end of the ceremony, the participants looked round the remodeled theatre and enjoyed a music and dance performance given by the artistes of the provincial art troupe.
