The city and county people's committees in the province solved such problems as providing conditions for the production of school uniforms and strengthening the ranks of skilled workers.

The Hyesan Garment Factory has increased the number of skilled workers through production practice and stepped up production through the introduction of positive technical innovation proposals, thus saving much time and labor and improving the quality of school uniforms.

The Samjiyon Unha Garment Factory newly invented and manufactured more than 20 kinds of jigs and equipment and made innovations in the production of school uniforms for students of universities and senior middle schools in the province and even for pupils and students of primary and junior middle schools in Samjiyon City.

Other garment factories strengthened their technical forces and made successes in the production of school uniforms through the campaign in which one overtakes and learns from others and swaps experiences with each other.
