The performance began with choruses "We Are the Happiest in the World" and "You Are the Future of the Country". Put on the stage were colorful numbers including instrumental music, serial songs, true-story drama and comic story.

In the congratulatory poem "Sun and Sunflowers" the performers represented the history of benevolent love of the great leader Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un who provided the precious tradition of the Juche-oriented children's movement and showed great benevolence for the rising generations, setting the work for them as the top priority of the Party and state policies.

Included in the numbers of the performance were songs reflecting the boundless thanks to Kim Jong Un who is bringing the beautiful dreams and hopes of schoolchildren across the country into full bloom.

The numbers reflecting the courageous stamina of the schoolchildren growing up to be dependable pillars who will firmly defend the precious socialist country and shoulder the future of a powerful country by inheriting the spirit of the anti-Japanese Children's Corps and the children's guerrillas during the Fatherland Liberation War were acclaimed by the audience.
