On December 30, Juche 100 (2011), our Party and people upheld Kim Jong Un as the supreme commander of the armed forces of the DPRK.

Since the day when he assumed the heavy responsibility of the supreme commander of the DPRK armed forces and began to lead the Korean revolution, the revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK have fully demonstrated the might as the strongest revolutionary army and accomplished the century-old desire and great national-historic cause for a thriving country.

Under the leadership of Kim Jong Un who put forward the ideological front as the outpost of building the revolutionary armed forces and set up a goal of the political and ideological work, the Korean People's Army could be strengthened into a large force of revolutionaries and patriots regarding it as their immutable faith to defend the leader and safeguard the country.

The energetic leadership of Kim Jong Un who indicate the ever-victorious stratagem in the competitions of KPA services and arms and military training grounds clouded with battle smoke and vigorously kindled the flames of the movement for becoming crack shots in the way the anti-Japanese guerrillas did in Mt Paektu served as the basic key for turning the revolutionary armed forces into a matchless elite revolutionary army.

Even though he was busy with inspection tour, he had photo sessions with soldiers, holding them in his arms, and provided the fallen soldiers with a worthwhile life of immortality. Thanks to his warm trust, our revolutionary armed forces could demonstrate their might as the powerful combat ranks of harmonious whole and reliably defend the territorial land, air and waters of the country.

And thanks to the devoted efforts of him ceaselessly visiting defence science research bases and dangerous test sites in the van of the do-or-die struggle for the country and people, the great national historic cause was realized on the highest level in the shortest period.

The Defence Development Exhibition Self-Defence-2021 held last year and the military parade for celebrating the 90th anniversary of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army, power demonstration of the state nuclear combat armed forces and counteraction military operations held this year strikingly showed the tremendous might of the revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK, the phase of its radical development and the self-defensive power of our state which has reached the highest level.

In those days the Korean people came to have firm confidence that the ever-victorious history and tradition of Juche Korea would be steadily continued and the mightiness and invincibility of the DPRK further demonstrated as they are guided by Kim Jong Un.
