Appearance of Pakyon Falls Renovated
Pyongyang, December 30 (KCNA) -- The appearance of Pakyon Falls, a scenic spot of the DPRK, has recently undergone a radical change.

In the area of the scenic spot are Pakyon Falls, one of the three famous waterfalls in the country, and many historical relics including the wall in Mt Taehung and Kwanum Temple.

Road lamps of stone lantern type with national flavor were newly installed on the entrance to the scenic spot and several bridges including the bridge to "Ryongbawi" (dragon-shaped rock) were reconstructed to suit the scenic beauty.

Various historical remains including the Kwanum Temple were also repaired.

The construction of the Taehung Temple was pushed forward to show its past appearance.

The concrete paving of a hundred and tens of meters-long sightseeing roads was completed and a volleyball court and other conditions necessary for the cultural and emotional life of the working people were newly provided.
