| Waterway Projects at Final Stage in DPRK

| Pyongyang, December 30 (KCNA) -- Officials and shock brigade members of the waterway construction division, who turned out in the implementation of the decisions made at the 4th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, are working hard to complete the Hwangju-Kindung waterway project. After completing the construction of more than 170 outdoor structures including a disappearing bridge this year, the construction division has pushed ahead with the construction of a dirt canal extending hundreds of ris, thus completing more than 70% of the overall construction project. The Hwangju-Kindung waterway project is near to completion thanks to the positive efforts of the officials and members of the waterway construction division. |
