Thanks to the positive efforts of the agricultural officials and workers to make substantial progress in implementing the Party's policy on bringing about a radical turn in potato farming, the province increased the production of self-sufficing manure more than 1.2 times as against the same period of last year, and the work for increasing the fertility of soil is progressing apace.

Agricultural officials in the province and its cities and counties are intensifying the scientific and technological guidance to raise the per-hectare yield of potatoes on the basis of lessons drawn from this year's farming, while urging the farms to step up the work of each process as scheduled.

Cities and counties are carrying manure to suit the characteristics of each plot and field on the basis of detailed soil analysis data and improving the soil quality.

Primary efforts are directed to increasing the soil fertility and keeping potato in a responsible manner.
