The novel deals with the immortal revolutionary exploits of President Kim Il Sung who made public the historic theses on the character and tasks of the Korean revolution in April Juche 44 (1955) and visited every part of the country seething with postwar reconstruction to powerfully arouse the Korean people to the creation of a worthwhile new life.

It shows with artistic representation that Korean-style socialism centered on the popular masses could be born thanks to the great idea, philosophy and leadership of Kim Il Sung who put forward all the working masses as the maker of history and master of the socialist revolution.
