Participants in 9th KCU Congress Do Political and Cultural Work
Pyongyang, January 1 (KCNA) -- The participants in the 9th Congress of the Korean Children's Union (KCU) conducted colorful political and cultural work.

They went round the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum, the center of education in the tradition of victory and a base for anti-U.S. class education.

Listening to the story of the victorious wartime generation who inflicted a disgraceful defeat upon the U.S. imperialist aggressors and demonstrated to the world the might of heroic Korea under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung, the visitors looked round the objects and data on display.

At the Fatherland Liberation War Martyrs Cemetery, they laid bouquets and flowers before bowing in memory of the heroic soldiers who unhesitatingly sacrificed their youth and lives to the beloved country, happiness and future of the rising generations.

Through the visit to the Central Class Education House bearing witness to the aggressive and predatory nature and brutal atrocities of the imperialists and class enemies, they keenly cherished the iron truth that illusion about the enemy precisely means death and that they must defeat the enemy.

They spent a pleasant and significant time at the Sci-Tech Complex and the Natural History Museum, obsessed with the world of mysterious science and the secret of infinite nature.

A circus performance was given by the National Acrobatic Troupe for the participants at the Pyongyang Circus Theater.

The participants in the congress enjoyed themselves at the Amusement Park of the Kaeson Youth Park, the Rungna People's Pleasure Park and other resorts, and watched a video showing the successes and experience gained in the children's union work after the 8th Congress of the KCU.
