Electric-power Production of Pyongyang Thermal Power Plant in DPRK

| Pyongyang, January 2 (KCNA) -- In the New Year, too, the Pyongyang Thermal Power Plant has strived to increase the electric-power production in hearty response to the decisions of the Sixth Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK). While conducting the political work to inspire the workers to increased production, officials scrupulously organized and guided the production. The heat production workshops No. 1 and 2 maximized the thermal efficiency, and the turbine workshop increased the production by directing efforts to raising the output power of each generator. The unloading and coal-conveying workshops ensured a full operation of the equipment and conveyors. Similar achievements were also witnessed at the chemical and automation workshops. |
