Do-Good-Thing Movement Launched
Pyongyang, January 5 (KCNA) -- In hearty response to the idea and spirit of the Sixth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, women's union officials and members in Kaesong City of the DPRK have conducted a dynamic do-good-thing movement from the outset of the year.

Officials of the city women's union committee took the lead in the campaign for giving labor and material assistance to the farms.

A large amount of compost and farming materials have been provided amid the women's union members' zeal for support to the farms growing higher with each passing day.

Members of women's union art squads in the city displayed slogans and watchwords on farms fields while conducting the agitprop activities to encourage the agricultural workers out in the farming preparations.

At various agricultural production units, women's union members are helping the peasants with their farm work and explaining the Party's policy to arouse them to the creation of new innovation.

And their dynamic rush-hour motivation activities in major places of the city stir up the revolutionary zeal of the working people who have turned out in the struggle to make this year a year of epochal turn.

Meanwhile, women's union members in different parts of the city visited the families of war veterans and honored disabled soldiers on the New Year to show warm care for them.
