He made public a celebrated work "Let Us Develop Our Youth Movement to a New, Higher Level" on January 5, Juche 82 (1993) and other works to clearly show the road ahead of the Korean youth movement.

Clarified in his famous work "On Improving the Work of the Youth League to Meet the Requirements of the Developing Situation" and other works published in the 1960s are the ideas and theories on improving the work of the youth league in conformity with its character and duty as a militant reserve of the Party and a mass political organization and firmly equipping the young people, who have not experienced the trials of the revolution, with the revolutionary tradition of the Party.

There are also works indicating the tasks and ways for the young people to fulfill their noble mission and duty as required by the times when socialism entered the stage of overall construction.

Expounded in his works published in the 1980s are all the issues related to the youth work, including the issue of strengthening the Party guidance over the work of youth and children and building up the ranks of the youth league to prepare them as a group intensely loyal to the Party and the leader.

In the 1990s he authored works giving perfect answers to the theoretical and practical problems for the youth league organizations to perform their role as an ideological education organization and comprehensively clarifying the idea and theory on further developing the youth movement of Juche led by President Kim Il Sung.

The ideas and exploits of the Chairman, who strengthened the Korean youth movement into the most revolutionary one giving the steady continuity to the revolutionary cause of Juche are being more creditably inherited and developed under the guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
