Assistance to Steel Front Strengthened

Pyongyang, January 5 (KCNA) -- Pyongyang citizens and officials of the ministries and national institutions in the DPRK have turned out in the work to support the steel front from the outset of the new year, out of the mind to glorify this significant year as a year of great turn and change.

Residents in the capital city of Pyongyang, aware that sending much more scrap iron to the steel front is an important work for consolidating the national power, secured a large amount of scrap iron through a dynamic mass campaign out of the patriotic mind.

Hundreds of tons of scrap iron, collected by citizens, were transported to the Chollima Steel Complex on January 4 by ministries and national institutions.
