Blastings Carried out in Several Units of DPRK

| Pyongyang, January 6 (KCNA) -- Different units of the DPRK successfully carried out the first blastings for this year on Jan. 5. The North Phyongan Provincial Tideland Reclamation General Enterprise and the Manpho August 2 Cement Factory respectively conducted the blasting of 100,000 cubic meters of earth and the South Hwanghae Provincial Tideland Reclamation General Enterprise the blasting of 60,000 cubic meters of earth. Those successful blastings made a breakthrough in stepping up the tideland-reclamation projects and rapidly increasing the cement production. |
