The reporters and speakers supported the major goals for national economic development in the year 2023, set to ensure the happiness of the Korean people and the substantial progress and development of the state.

They noted that all the officials, Party members and other working people have courageously turned out in the advance to work a historic miracle again true to the decisions of the Sixth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the WPK.

The major goals of the year 2023 are the tasks that should be fulfilled without fail by giving full play to the fighting spirit displayed in 2022 which made the socialist country develop despite all sorts of difficulties and trials, they said.

They stressed that this year's struggle would give the people and posterity confidence in the rosy future of the DPRK which is advancing under the banner of self-support and self-reliance while preserving the leadership exploits of the Party.

At the meetings, the reporters and speakers called upon all the Party members, working people and officials to carry out the 2023 tasks for the five-year plan set forth at the 8th Congress of the WPK and thus usher in a new heyday of the Korean revolution.
