The management bureau worked out in a realistic way the plan for attaining the timber production goal set at the 6th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea while minutely organizing the economic work and improving living conditions of the workers.

The forestry stations and mine timber production stations intensively displayed slogans, watchwords and posters reflecting the idea of the plenary meeting and aroused the working masses to the increased production through the frontline-style political work.

Different forestry stations have brought about good results while introducing efficient felling methods and conducting a mass technical innovation movement.
