Pyongyang, January 12 (KCNA) -- Writers in Pyongyang and local areas of the DPRK launched their creative activities at worksites of socialist construction seething with the struggle for implementing the decisions of the 6th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea. They have produced lots of literary works reflecting the thoughts and feelings of all the people out in the struggle to thoroughly and perfectly implement the policies and instructions of the Party, regarding their trust in it as absolute. Among them are lyric poems "New Year 2023" and "Towards Greater Victory" singing of the fortune and honor of the nation guided by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who is taking the lead in the general advance for opening up a new phase of upsurge in socialist construction. Vividly reflected in lyric poems "Glowing Molten Iron" and "Our Way" are the high spirit and pluck of the working class to contribute to the economic construction and the improvement of the people's livelihood by decisively increasing the production of iron and steel and chemical goods. Those works, created by poets who visited the Pyongyang Thermal Power Plant with their sincere aid materials, inspired its employees struggling to increase the electricity output from the outset of the year in hearty response to the call of the Party. There are also poetic works carrying ardent patriotism of the officials and employees of the Kangye Unha Garment Factory and the Sariwon Bag Factory determined to fulfill their duties in the van of the worthwhile struggle with the spirit and stamina of the 1960s and 1970s. Such poetic works as "I Will Support the Party with Grain Production" and "Real Farmer" imbue the agricultural workers with the confidence and courage that as long as they are boundlessly loyal to the Party, they can achieve everything and bring earlier the rosy future of the rural development by overcoming all obstacles and difficulties. |
