The ongoing general advance for glorifying this year as a year of great turn and change is a worthwhile struggle to fully demonstrate the validity and vitality of the idea of independence in politics, self-sustenance in the economy and self-reliance in national defence, the invariable guidelines of the Korean revolution, the editorial says, and goes on:

We should regard all the lines of the Party and the state as absolute truth and unconditionally implement them, and thus achieve a great victory to be significantly recorded in the history of the DPRK this year without fail.

The outstanding idea and leadership of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un are a decisive guarantee for putting the dignity and position of the DPRK on the highest level and bringing earlier the rosy future of a prosperous and powerful country.

All sectors and units of the national economy should realize the importance of their position and role in the struggle to implement the decisions of the Sixth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Party Central Committee, carry out their production plans on a monthly and quarterly basis for sure and persistently push ahead with the maintenance and reinforcement work.

We should give full play to the strength of loyalty and patriotism peculiar to the Korean people who have always responded to the Party's call with mass advance and mass innovation movement.

In order to tide over the difficulties facing the revolution by our own efforts and open up a new phase of national prosperity, all officials, Party members and other working people should once again hold high the fighting spirit and banner of the 1960s and 1970s.

The editorial calls upon all the people to glorify this year marking the 75th birthday of the DPRK and the 70th anniversary of the war victory significantly and thus fully demonstrate the might of Juche Korea advancing with fresh courage and vigor.
