Innovative Ways for Improving Education Discussed in DPRK

Pyongyang, January 15 (KCNA) -- The Education Commission has discussed ways for innovating and developing educational work and taken necessary measures, in hearty response to the idea of the Sixth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Officials are conducting all work with the main emphasis on improving the educational structure, content, method and level.

The primary and secondary education sector is taking measures for making students fully understand the basic knowledge and renovating the educational structure so as to educate them according to their nature and aptitude.

And the higher education sector is seeking practical ways to train more talents capable of playing a key role in the development of science and technology and the economic development.
