Work for Raising Educational Level of Revolutionary Schools Launched in DPRK
Pyongyang, January 16 (KCNA) -- True to the intention of the Workers' Party of Korea to attach importance to the work of Mangyongdae Revolutionary School and Kang Pan Sok Revolutionary School, the educational sector of the DPRK is striving to improve the educational level of revolutionary schools.

The Education Commission has set a goal to help the revolutionary schools in their education and thus turn them into models for the whole country in a short span of time.

Educators of Kim Il Sung University, Kim Chol Ju University of Education and Pyongyang Teachers Training College, officials and researchers of the Pedagogical Institute, and excellent educators of Pyongyang Secondary School No. 1, Changdok School, East Pyongyang Secondary School No. 1 and Kumsong Secondary School No. 1 are working hard to work out new educational programs of the revolutionary schools with the educators of the revolutionary schools.

They attained the first-stage goal for working out the educational programs by December last year. This year, too, they are pushing ahead with the work to attain the next-stage goal and improve the teaching management system at the revolutionary schools.

The research group of Kim Il Sung University strives to develop and introduce the intelligent teaching control system conducive to improving the abilities of schoolchildren.

Meanwhile, the preparations for the short course are under way to improve the practical qualifications of teachers of the revolutionary schools for the education in the new school year.
