Agitprop Activities for Increased Production Brisk in DPRK
Pyongyang, January 21 (KCNA) -- Artistes of provincial art squads in the DPRK are conducting brisk agitation activities at industrial establishments and farms across the country seething with the struggle for implementing the decisions of the Sixth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Artistes of the North Hamgyong Provincial Art Squad launched their activities at the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex. Touring its workshops to perform such numbers as male chorus "Are We Living Like in Those Days ", they have instilled into the steel workers the fighting spirit displayed in the 1960s and 70s.

Those of the South Hamgyong Provincial Art Squad visited the Ryongsong Machine Complex to stage a frontline-style agitation performance with numbers calling for following the tradition of struggle of the preceding generation who devotedly carried out the tasks assigned by the Party.

Touring coal mines in the Tukjang area, the South Phyongan Provincial Art Squad conducted its agitation activities to stir up the flames of socialist patriotic movement, revolutionary mass movement at the coal mines.

Members of the art squads in North and South Hwanghae provinces have encouraged the agricultural workers out in a drive for this year's farming preparations, conducting brisk agitation activities at various farms.

The North Phyongan Provincial Art Squad and the Kangwon Provincial Art Squad, too, gave agitation performances for increased production with diverse numbers at the Sinuiju Chemical Fibre Mill under modernization, the Wonsan Footwear Factory, the Wonsan Disabled Soldiers' Essential Plastic Goods Factory, etc.
