The New Year message from Kim Jong Un to the chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee was cordially read out at the meeting.

The reporter said that Kim Jong Un sent his New Year message to give warm blessings to Chongryon and Koreans in Japan on the first morning of this year, too, together with the hearts of the great leaders, and powerfully arouse the movement of Koreans in Japan to an era of overall development along with the homeland.

This year is a year of struggle for Chongryon to achieve remarkable successes by bravely overcoming all difficulties lying in the way of the patriotic movement in hearty response to the New Year message of Kim Jong Un, he said.

The reporter ardently called upon all the officials of Chongryon to go out in the struggle to more clearly demonstrate the nature of Chongryon this year and definitely put the overall patriotic work on a higher stage of development and thus record a glorious page in the history of the Juche-oriented movement of Koreans in Japan.
