Present there were members and alternate members of the Central Committee of the youth league.

Officials of the SPYL Central Committee and the youth league committees at ministries and national institutions and in provinces, cities and counties attended the meeting as observers.

The meeting discussed the issues for carrying through the decisions of the Sixth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and the tasks set forth in the letter "March towards the Future of a Powerful Country under the Unfurled Flag of the Children's Union" sent by the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un to the participants in the Ninth Congress of the Korean Children's Union (KCU).

Mun Chol, chairman of the SPYL Central Committee, made a report on the agenda item of thoroughly implementing the decisions of the plenary meeting of the Party Central Committee.

The reporter said that the respected fatherly Marshal's report at the plenary meeting is the most scientific fighting strategy showing the path for a new leap forward in the Korean revolution and the great action programme for hastening the prosperity and development of the state through substantial innovations.

He called upon all the youth league officials and members to throw themselves into carrying into practice the fighting strategy set forth at the Sixth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the WPK and thus demonstrate the might of the advancing group for the general onward march and the large contingent of patriotic youths in the struggle for glorifying this year.

The meeting discussed the tasks facing the youth league organizations to carry through the tasks set forth in the important letter sent by the respected fatherly Marshal to the participants in the 9th Congress of the KCU.

Resolutions on the agenda items were adopted at the enlarged meeting.
