At the meeting, war veteran Ryu Song Jun said that the first military parade of the KPA was held with splendor on Feb. 8, 1948, heralding the birth of the regular armed forces of the new Korea, and another military parade was held to celebrate victory in the war in the great 1950s.

The victory in the Fatherland Liberation War is a brilliant fruition of President Kim Il Sung's Juche-oriented military idea, superb strategy and tactics and outstanding commandership, and a proud victory won with the heroic spirit and indomitable struggle of the service personnel of the People's Army and the people boundlessly loyal to their leader.

He called upon officials and members of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea (UAWK) to fulfill their duty as those responsible for the rural revolution and the country's granary, remaining faithful to the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, just like the victorious wartime generations who absolutely trusted and followed only the President despite harsh trails.

Present at the meeting were officials of the UAWK Central Committee and agricultural workers in Pyongyang City.
