The papers say that as the KPA, the regular revolutionary armed forces that inherited the tradition of the anti-Japanese war, were founded on February 8, Juche 37 (1948), the DPRK emerged as a dignified country with its own strong military guarantee and the Korean people could dynamically advance the revolution and construction by relying on powerful arms.

Rodong Sinmun in an editorial says that the 75-year history of the heroic KPA is the glorious history in which it has developed into the only revolutionary armed forces in the world and into a powerful army with high military technological forces, and a sacred history in which it has defended the revolutionary cause of Juche and defended the country and people with arms.

It goes on:

There are many countries in the world and they have their own armies, but the KPA is the only revolutionary elite army that reliably guarantees the unquestioned prestige of the Party Central Committee, the security of the state and the happiness of the people with its heroic struggle and brilliant military exploits.

The KPA is an army devotedly defending the leader as it advances straight ahead with arms only in the direction indicated by the Party Central Committee and never pardons even the slightest act of blocking the cause of the WPK.

The might of the KPA which armed forces of any country can not have or imitate lies in the fact that it is the pioneer opening up the road of advance for building a powerful socialist country and creator of the people's happiness.

The Korean-style socialist cause is invincible as the KPA is always standing at the vanguard of the revolution as the personifier of the idea and will of the Workers' Party of Korea and the might of the state and people.

Minju Joson in an editorial stresses that our socialist country of Juche will be always powerful and prosperous as long as there is the heroic Korean People's Army glorifying the ever-victorious history and tradition under the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, peerlessly great man.
