Officials of the Ministry of Machine-building Industry have worked out a plan for fully producing custom-built equipment and carried it out.

The Ryongsong Machine Complex has completed the designs of equipment to be sent to the Juche fertilizer production bases in Namhung and Hungnam, and is propelling the production of parts.

The complex is pushing ahead with the production of machinery and equipment needed for the development of a new mine, which is playing an important role in putting the chemical industry on the higher Juche basis.

Officials of the Ryangchaek Bearing Factory have made a study of the actual conditions at a coal mine and, on this basis, took measures to produce bearings capable of raising the operation rate of coal wagons.

Officials and workers of the Anju Pump Factory are making a remarkable progress in the production of large water pumps and workers of the Pyongyang Electric Cable General Factory 326 are putting spurs to the production of parts needed for custom-built equipment.
