Party and power organs in the province, learning about the technical conditions of the railway, have taken measures to supply materials for the production of concrete sleepers and called upon all units to regularly clean the surrounding areas of the railway.

Wonsan and Munchon cities and Sepho County secured tens of thousands of fixing goods of railway and have directed efforts to setting up facilities at crossings observation posts and sprucing up railway stations and their surrounding areas.

Working people in Chonnae, Thongchon, Kosan and Phyonggang counties produced more than 10 000 cubic meters of ballast in a responsible manner in a short span of time and have paid big efforts to repairing ditches around railway.

Phangyo and Ichon counties are ensuring the safety of railway roadbed by cleaning ballast, repairing retaining walls and readjusting the slope as required by technical regulations.
