Wreath Laid before Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt Taesong
Pyongyang, February 10 (KCNA) -- General officers of the Korean People's Army (KPA), the backbone of the armed forces of the DPRK, visited the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt Taesong on Thursday to pay noble homage to the anti-Japanese revolutionary martyrs on the occasion of the 75th founding anniversary of the heroic KPA.

Commanding officers of the Ministry of National Defence including Kang Sun Nam, Pak Su Il and Jong Kyong Thaek and military and political commanding officers of the KPA large combined units and combined units climbed to the Jujak Peak, full of great glory and pride of having once again demonstrated the matchless spirit of the KPA and the mightiness and invincibility of our state, holding the peerlessly brilliant commander in high esteem at the square of the grand military parade on the occasion of the significant Day of Army Founding.

Amid the playing of the wreath-laying music, a wreath was laid in the reverence of the service personnel of the entire army for the anti-Japanese revolutionary forerunners.

Commanding officers of the Ministry of National Defence, military and political commanding officers of the large combined units and combined units paid silent tribute to the memory of the anti-Japanese revolutionary martyrs who devoted their youth and lives to the sacred cause of independence and sovereignty of the country and happiness of the people.
