The Central District People's Committee of Pyongyang City expands the electricity production capacity on the basis of building a solar power plant and benefiting from it.

The Kangnam County Food Administration Station has created the generating capacity of hundreds of kW with hulls of rice, connected it to the state electric power system and kept the generating equipment in full capacity, thus fully meeting its own needs and contributing to the electricity production of the country.

The Anak County Farm Machine Station and other units in South Hwanghae Province have manufactured gas-motor generators based on biomass and provided the electricity for production and management.
