A vice-chief of the General Staff of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Cuba said that the 75th founding anniversary of the KPA was a really significant occasion not only for the Korean people but also for the Cuban people and service personnel of the revolutionary armed forces and in the history of the world revolutionary movement, adding that the revolutionary armed forces of Cuba and the DPRK have grown stronger on the road of defending global peace and the friendly relations between the two countries will invariably develop in the future, too.

The chairperson of the National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of the DR Congo, in a keynote report, praised the exploits of President Kim Il Sung, who founded the invincible revolutionary armed forces inheriting the tradition of the anti-Japanese struggle and wisely led the KPA to perform military miracles in the 20th century.

Thanks to H.E. Kim Jong Il's unique idea and line for army building and energetic leadership, the KPA could firmly defend socialism despite the imperialist allied forces' moves to isolate and stifle the DPRK in the period of unprecedentedly severe ordeals, the chairperson pointed out.

The chairperson affirmed that the KPA holding the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un in high esteem as a peerlessly brilliant commander would glorify the sacred history and tradition of a powerful revolutionary army and demonstrate victory and glory only.

Meanwhile, a friendly gathering between officials of the Cuban Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces and members of the DPRK mission in Cuba was held in Havana on Feb. 5 to mark the Day of the Shining Star and the Day of Army Founding.
