Forest Restoration Campaign and Land Management Work Reviewed in DPRK
Pyongyang, February 15 (KCNA) -- A meeting for reviewing last year's forest restoration campaign and general mobilization for land management took place at the Cabinet of the DPRK on Tuesday through a video conferencing.

Attending it were Premier Kim Tok Hun, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, Jon Hyon Chol, secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK, and other senior Party and government officials and officials of the Cabinet, commissions, ministries, national institutions, provincial, city and county Party and power organs and relevant sectors.

Minister of National Defence Kang Sun Nam and other officials of the armed forces organs were also present.

The meeting analyzed and reviewed in detail the successes, experience and lessons gained in the forest restoration campaign and the general mobilization for land management last year and discussed the measures for bringing about a fresh turn in land management including forestation, river improvement and anti-land-sliding project this year.
