Garib Newaz, president of the Bangladesh People's League, said in a press statement issued in the newspaper The Daily Folk on Feb. 4 that H.E. Kim Jong Il glorified the Juche idea elucidating the way for carving out the destiny of the mankind as the guiding idea in the era of independence and gave the comprehensive answers to the theoretical and practical problems arising in carrying out the cause of the popular masses for independence and the cause of socialism.

He said that political parties and people of many countries are making efforts to study, grasp and apply H.E. Kim Jong Il ideology and theory even at present, adding that the exploits of his ideology and theory will shine forever with the victorious advance of the cause of global independence.

Vasile Orleanu, chairman of the Supreme Council of the National Socialist Party of Romania, noted in an article posted on the website on Feb. 11 that it was the greatest exploit of H.E. Kim Jong Il to defend socialism with treasured sword of Songun.

On the same day, Christer Lundgren, chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association, in an article posted on the website said that it was unthinkable apart from General Kim Jong Il's exploits that the Korean people are accelerating socialist construction despite all challenges. He paid high tribute to the peerlessly great man who devoted all his life to the country and people.
