Electric Power Production Goes up in DPRK

| Pyongyang, February 20 (KCNA) -- The workers of the power plants in different parts of the DPRK, who turned out in the drive for implementing the decisions of the 6th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, are keeping production going on a high level. The hydroelectric power stations including the Hochongang and Jangjingang power stations are ensuring high water level and efficiency operation to over-fulfill their production plans. The thermal power plants including the Pukchang Thermal Power Complex and the Pyongyang Thermal Power Plant have produced much electricity in February. As a result, millions of kWh of more electricity are produced every day. |
