The Orang County Farm Machine Station in North Hamgyong Province replaced several old lathes with new ones and updated production processes according to a stepwise plan to overhaul tens of tractors and 10-odd rice-transplanting machines.

Officials of Yonan County in South Hwanghae Province provided equipment and materials needed for the production of accessories and repair of farm machines at the county farm machine station, thus increasing the production capacity by 1.5 times.

The county farm machine station has overhauled hundreds of tractors to send them to the countryside and finished the planned repairing of rice-transplanting machines.

The Jongphyong County Farm Machine Station in South Hamgyong Province has established a system for checking and sending out the tractors as soon as they are repaired, thus guaranteeing the quality of repairing tractors.

The same is true of Jongju City in North Phyongan Province, Sukchon County in South Phyongan Province and other parts of the country.
