Screened at the film shows were films and programs dealing with the tremendous military strength of the DPRK.

Speeches were made at the events to praise the exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un for the founding and development of the KPA.

Speakers noted that Kim Jong Il developed in depth the Juche idea and dynamically advanced the socialist cause and the cause of independence against imperialism with his Songun politics.

They stressed that the Korean people are the heroic people who defeated the U.S. imperialists for the first time in the world and that they would accelerate the victorious advance of socialism, smashing all sorts of provocations by the hostile forces.

A congratulatory message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the event held in Nepal.

Meanwhile, a round-table was held in Vietnam with the participation of members of the Foreign Relations Department of the National Defense Ministry and a seminar on the theme of "75-year History of the Korean People's Army" by the Brazilian Center for the Study of Songun Politics to mark the Day of Army Founding of the DPRK.
