The Kumsong Tractor Factory has pushed ahead with the production of rice-transplanting machines and 80 hp tractors as scheduled while taking technical measures to improve the quality of products including the remodeling of tractor's driving gear. The factory is also stepping up the development of the trial product of small-sized rice harvester.

The Huichon Precision Machine Plant has propelled the production of various kinds of accessories for farm machines. Through the introduction of technical innovation proposals, it turned out more than 10,000 accessories of five kinds.

The Sunchon Engine Factory and the Kangso Engine Accessory Factory, too, are making innovations in the production in the spirit of self-reliance and fortitude.
