Officials of Paechon County, South Hwanghae Province, have directed efforts to producing water pumps of various sizes and ensuring the repair of scores of the existing large-capacity water pumps in a qualitative way in cooperation with the farm machine station, irrigation management station and farm implement factory in the county.

The county finished the repair and adjustment of the existing water pumps and produced more than 50 new ones.

Officials of Ryongchon County, North Phyongan Province set the goal to finish the repair of pumping equipment in a short span of time and directed efforts to securing steel sheets, welding rods and bearings of various sizes. The county irrigation management station finished the repair and adjustment of tens of pumping facilities in a short span of time.

Similar achievements were also made in Hamju County of South Hamgyong Province, Kilju County of North Hamgyong Province and other areas.
