Officials of the district Party committee and villagers visited her family to offer congratulations on her 100th birthday and share joy with her.

Mun was born into a tenant's family and had to undergo a sorrow of a stateless nation before Korea's liberation. She has felt grateful to the system of the country founded by President Kim Il Sung through her life.

With a single mind to repay the benevolence of the country, she contributed to building a new country with increased grain production. During the Fatherland Liberation War, she devoted herself to the victory of the war and let her descendants work at major posts for the national defence and socialist construction.

She now lives free from worries under the most advantageous policies and always requests her descendants to work harder to defend and glorify the grateful socialist country, never forgetting her bitter past before the national liberation.
