The province has sent hundreds of thousands of tons of urban manure and more than 180,000 medium- and small-size farm implements of 10-odd kinds to the farms up to now to surely attain this year's grain production goal set at the Sixth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The provincial people's committee registered a high record in manure production by encouraging its officials and staff to turn out as one in the support to the countryside.

The provincial youth league committee, the provincial telecommunication management bureau, the Haeju Footwear Factory and other units secured quality manure by tapping all reserves and possibilities.

Jaeryong and Pongchon counties sent much more urban manure to farms than planned and the residents in Haeju City and Pyoksong, Samchon, Unryul, Sinchon and Kwail counties transported the secured organic fertilizers to farm fields in time.

Industrial establishments, including the provincial power transmission and distribution station, the provincial management bureau for regional construction and building-materials production and Haeju Port, sent many farm implements to the farms associated with the Party's leadership exploits.
