Measure Taken to Promote Growth of Wheat and Barley

| Pyongyang, March 2 (KCNA) -- South Hwanghae Province of the DPRK has taken agricultural technical measures timely to accelerate the growth of autumn wheat and barley. The province is concentrating efforts on treading on wheat and barley fields. The agricultural workers in the province secured tens of thousands of tons of liquid manure and more than ten thousand of tons of ash and have pushed ahead with the work to spread them over wheat and barley fields. Meanwhile, they are stepping up manuring, taking into consideration of the rate of wintering and growth condition of wheat and barley. |
