Development of New Products Promoted

Pyongyang, March 4 (KCNA) -- To carry out the tasks set forth at the 6th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, the Pyongyang Sports Goods Factory in the DPRK pushes ahead with the development of new products conducive to the development of the country's physical culture and sports and to the improvement of people's cultural life.

The factory has given primary attention to spreading sci-tech knowledge among its employees.

It is promoting the development and production of new sports equipment helping sportspersons to do their physical training in a scientific way.

After building a new process for producing skates, the factory gave workers the necessary skills. And it developed and applied valuable technical innovations to lay foundations for putting the production on a normal track.

Thanks to the efforts of its officials, technical personnel and workers, more "Taesongsan"-trademarked sports goods have been produced.
