Zeal for Assistance to Countryside Elated in DPRK

Pyongyang, March 6 (KCNA) -- Assistance to the rural communities is heating up in different parts of the DPRK to inspire the agricultural workers out in the struggle to implement the resolutions of the plenary meeting of the Party Central Committee.

Officials and workers in South Hwanghae Province provided farms with more than 100,000 small and medium farm implements at the beginning of the year.

Officials of North Phyongan Province have taken measures to settle the problems arising in farming processes.

Institutions and other units of South Hamgyong Province are directing big efforts to the supply of farming materials.

Officials and workers in South Phyongan Province, Nampho City and other regions are helping such farm work as the production of organic fertilizer and the repair and readjustment of irrigation facilities while pushing ahead with the work to supply various farming materials.

The same is true of Ryanggang Province.
